INTRODUCTION
The Comparative Analysis of the Propaganda Policy of PBC and BBC
PBC describe its policy agenda in its web site as under:
The PBC act 1972 assigns the following main objectives to be followed by PBC along with its other public service activities in economic, agricultural, social, political, religious and cultural fields in the format of discussion programs, plays, features, documentaries, audience participated talk shows, general talks on social themes, music and news programs

The PBC objectives, as laid down in the PBC act:
To provide broadcasting services in the fields of information, education and entertainment through programs which maintain a proper balance in their subject matter and a high general standard of quality and morality;
To broadcast programs to promote Islamic Ideology, national unity and principles of democracy, freedom, equality, tolerance and social justice as enunciated by Islam.
To reflect the urges and aspiration of the people of Pakistan and promote principles of democracy and culture of freedom and tolerance.
To present news of events in as factual, accurate and impartial manner as possible and to carry out instructions of Federal Government with regard to general pattern of policies in respect of programs.
To broadcast programs in the External Services to foreign countries with a view to promote friendship and project Pakistan's view point on international issues in true perceptive.
The Policy of BBC is to broadcast the true and impartial news however some time BBC may support to western agenda but it can break news even against of its own government if the news is true.
SELECTION, CATEGORIZATION , CONTENT and STRUCTURE OF NEWS stories
BBC usually broadcasts International level news, focusing mainly on those issues and matters which are of interest of the whole world but the PBC categorizes its news as local news, regional news, National and the International news. Primal PBC focuses on the matters of local and National interest. News related to entertainment, information, health, sports etc. Whereas PBC usually selects its news stories according to the present National circumstances and then shows other stories in entertainment section.
Here are some example of PBC headline news,from it,it is very clear that news of PBC are mainly focused on the Pakistan and Government of Pakistan.

There is no such comparison between the two the BBC and PBC ,no doubt that PBC is doing a good job within its parameters,and the BBC is one of the top most in the world PBC also monitor its news and the news of BBC are not for the comparison of PBC,PBC has just to broadcast what the government like,and in the technology field the BBC is far more away from PBC.
RECOMMENDATIONS
First of all PBC should focus on its news selection because now the media has grow enough that now people are not interested in the PBC's same patteren news.
And then PBC should improve its net work so that it can compete with the world of media.
